A pioneering Phoenix arts organization presenting exhibitions, live performance, multidisciplinary events, and community programming. For more than four decades, Alwun House has created opportunities for artists and helped establish the foundation of downtown Phoenix's contemporary arts scene.
A working studio community for artists across disciplines, with private and shared studios, ceramic facilities, shared tools and equipment, a common courtyard, and short-term space for projects and exhibitions when available.
The ranch also hosts artist residencies lasting from two weeks to three months. Residents receive a studio and onsite accommodation, while covering their own travel, food, living expenses, and art supplies.

A home base for creative entrepreneurs offering private offices, flexible coworking, and production space for photo and video shoots. First Studio also participates in the First Friday Art Walk and presents rotating exhibitions of original work by local artists.
Monthly shows are organized by curator and artist-in-residence team Kris Kollasch and Ellen Nemetz. Local artists interested in exhibiting are encouraged to get in touch.
