Sawyer Boyd's welded steel sculpture brings automotive pinstriping into three dimensions, blending childhood imagination, Venezuelan heritage, and mythological visual language. Installed March 25, 2026 through Spring 2028.

Tyson Krank's sculpture sits at Scottsdale Road and Oak Street as a record of slow, deliberate making. Built entirely by hand, the work centers persistence, patience, discipline, and the quiet transformation that happens when an artist stays with the process. Installed March 25, 2026 through Spring 2028.

Mikey Butzine's 10-foot-tall saguaro combines blown glass, metal, and neon at Arizona Center. Visit in the evening to fully experience the blue and green light moving through the sculpture.
For Artists
Independent artists can apply to exhibit and sell work directly, meet visitors and collectors in person, and join an accessible fair built around emerging art, installations, performances, and unexpected encounters. Applications are free. Deadline: June 30. Fair: November 12–15, 2026 at OnJackson.
Apply for PhoenixPhotographers and artists working in image-based media can apply for a one-month residency in Syracuse, New York. International applicants are welcome, and the selected artist receives a $7,500 stipend. Application fee: $10. Deadline: June 30, 2026.
Historic Grand Avenue is calling for artists to design the 2026 Grand Ave Festival poster. Submission deadline: July 6, 2026.
Apply at bit.ly/grandave2026Artists, writers, choreographers, composers, and other creative practitioners can apply for a Phoenix residency lasting from two weeks to three months. The ranch provides a studio and onsite accommodation, plus access to shared tools and equipment. Residents cover travel, food, living expenses, and art supplies. Deadline: July 15, 2026.
Community-based artists are encouraged to apply for a roster of artists who may be hired to create participatory art activities at Chandler community events during 2026–2027. Deadline: June 22, 2026.
Open to artists anywhere in Arizona. Submit one or two pages, or send work for the organizers to format, for possible promotion in the next issue. Prints, photography, music, sculpture, performance, and other handmade creative work are welcome. No AI work. No deadline is listed.
